We have a few simple rules to make our festival an enjoyable experience for everyone
Strictly no glass in the main arena or campsite.
No drugs or controlled substances (including psychoactive substances).
Under 13s must be accompanied by an adult at all times (a responsible person over the age of 21).
No spray cans or gas canisters
No fireworks, flares, smoke canisters, Chinese lanterns, large camping stoves, BBQs, open fires, or generators.
No explosives, firearms, knives, blades, or replica weapons of any sort.
No megaphones, loud speakers, amplification equipment, klaxons, or air horns.
No dogs or pets, with the exception of assistance dogs

15th and 16th August 2020.
Where is Sheep Music?
Sheep Music is returning to Went's Meadow, Presteigne, Powys LD8 2ET.
FAMILIES
Do I have to be 18 to attend?
No, Sheep Music is a family event.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please ensure your child is wearing a wristband with a parent/guardian’s mobile number on it so we can contact you if needed. These wristbands are available from wristband exchange. No children under 13 will be allowed to enter, or exit the site without the supervision of an adult.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
There is no minimum age restriction, however under 13s must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Under 13s without an accompanying adult will not be permitted on, or off the site. Anyone under 16 with a Teen Ticket must camp in the same area/or with their parent, guardian or nominated guardian.
A strict Challenge 25 policy will be in place at the entrance to the main Arena. Over 18s will be asked to prove your age on entry to the festival, so please bring along your ID.
HOW DO I GET TO SHEEP MUSIC?
DRIVING
Sheep Music is held on Went’s Meadow, Presteigne, Powys LD8 2ET. Advanced parking tickets can be bought here or on the day at a cost of £10 per car.
TAXI
Presteigne and the surrounding areas have several private taxi firms available. All must be booked in advance but they will be happy to help you to your final destination!
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Trains - Knighton & Leominster http://www.traveline.cymru/
Buses - Bus station within half a mile from the site, with links to most surrounding towns although times will vary.
SITE OPENING TIMES
What are the Festival opening and closing times?
As Sheep Music is a 2-day camping festival, the event runs continuously from Saturday 10:00am till Monday 10:00am. However, the main arena will be open between the following hours:
Saturday 10:00 - 02:00
Sunday 07:00 - 00:30
The site officially closes at 10:00 on Monday. Refreshments will be available between 07:00am & 10:00am on Monday morning.
When is last entry if purchasing tickets?
Saturday 22:00
Sunday 22:00
Entry will be permitted to the main arena until site closes upon presentation of a valid wristband.
What are the box office hours?
Saturday 10:00 to 22:00
Sunday 08:00 to 22:00
If I leave the festival, can I re-enter?
Re-entry will only be permitted If you have a valid wristband. Any wristbands proved to have been tampered with, or if you have lost your wristband, you will not be allowed to re-enter the site. Under 13s only permitted with adult.
ALCOHOL
There is a “bring your own” alcohol limit at Sheep Music. Guests over 18 (with approved ID) may bring what is considered to be a sensible limit your own personal consumption, for example - 12 cans. Please refrain from bringing spirits. For safety reasons glass is not permitted into the campsite or main arena and will be confiscated. Under 18s will not be permitted to bring alcohol onto the site and will have it confiscated by security.
We will have a well-stocked bar on site with drinks at non-inflated pub prices. We plan to stock a wide range of local tipples to save you the trouble of dragging drink from your car and letting it get warm in your tent!
CASH MACHINES
A cash machine is available in Presteigne. Cashback is available in Spar.
DOGS
As a condition of our licence, dogs are not permitted on the site (except guide dogs).
DRUG POLICY
Illegal substances may not be brought into the site. You may be searched at the entrance. Refusal to be searched will result in the denial of entry.
FIRST AID
There is on-site first aid.
ID
Sheep Music uses a “Challenge 25” and “Proof of Age” scheme, so anyone who looks under 25 must bring official ID (passport, driving license or other photo ID). Anyone without the relevant ID will be issued with an under-18 wristband and refused service for age-limited products at the bar.
INFORMATION POINT
An information point is situated at the main gate. Lost property will be taken to the information point which is run by our stewards.

LOST PROPERTY
Lost property is being handled by our stewards. If you have not been re-united after the festival, please email us at info@sheep-music.co.uk with details of your belongings.
LOST CHILDREN
All lost children and enquires will be dealt with by our Welfare team.
SEXUAL SAFETY POLICY
Sheep Music has a zero-tolerance policy towards any kind of sexual assault or harassment at our festival.

DISABLED ACCESS

WELFARE
Sheep Music will have a Welfare team on site for the whole time the event is live. Your welfare is our top priority and we will always look to help you as much as we can. If you feel you need somewhere safe to retreat to then head to our Welfare tent. Whether you’ve had a bit too much to drink, need a safe space to relax to or simply need someone to chat to, then this is where you can find someone who will listen.
We will also have XenZone on site, a team dedicated to mental health awareness in young adults.
ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
Sheep Music is held on a field. There are a few hard roads around the site but these are stony roads that will become slippery and muddy in wet weather. Please note, Went’s Meadow has a mixture of pebbled and grassed areas in our outdoor arena, therefore, please wear suitable footwear.
Accessible camping will be positioned alongside Family camping. You will be able to find accessible toilets situated around the site.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT / CARERS TICKETS

FOOD & DRINK
Can I take in my own food and drink?
We do not restrict people from bringing their own food and drink into the festival, but we do ask that you support our bar and traders. Sheep Music is an entirely volunteer run event and could not happen without the support of its attendees.
BARS
Sheep Music operates a ‘Challenge 25’ policy. If you look under 25, please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when buying alcohol. We accept the following forms of identification: Current UK Passport Current Driver’s License or Provisional License Proof of Age Scheme card (e.g. Validate UK, Connexions Card). Even if you have been issued with an over-18s wristband you may still be asked for ID at the bar. It is illegal to buy alcohol for persons under the age of 18, if you do you risk being ejected from the festival.
FOOD
At Sheep Music we aim to offer a wide range of great food choices. There are a range of vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free options available, as well as some tasty meat options. Please check with all traders if you have allergens to ensure you’re able to eat the food they are providing.
WATER
We have numerous drinking water taps across our site, so please bring your own reusable water bottle and fill up for free.
PLASTIC
At Sheep Music we are not at all keen on disposable plastic cups. You will need to purchase a reusable cup, to drink at our bars. Excellent for the environment and taking home as a souvenir after the festival. Any used cups will be cleaned and reused, greatly reducing our disposable plastics.
All food traders’ packaging and cutlery will be certifiable compostable.
We will be taking strong steps to drastically reduce our use of disposable plastics across the site and we ask that you do to. Please be mindful when packing to come and enjoy our event. You can see our environmental policy here
